Viewing Agent Status
Seeker enables you to view and explore detailed information about all the currently connected Agents at any time.
- Go to . A list of currently connected Agents is displayed.
-
You can do the following:
- Filter the list by selecting the relevant projects.
- Select the number of Agents to display per page.
- Explore Agent Activity: Click an Agent name or choose Show detail from the (cog) menu.
- Click a project name link to open the project page.
- Suspend an Agent's operation temporarily without restarting the application by choosing Suspend from the menu. The indicator by the Agent's name becomes red.
- Resume the previously suspended Agent's operation without restarting the application by choosing Resume from the menu. The indicator by the Agent's name becomes green.
Attention:If an installed .NET Framework Agent doesn't appear on this page, this might mean that the Seeker .NET Agents service hasn't started properly. If the Agent is not installed in an Azure environment, you can check the service status in the Windows Event Viewer on the Agent host.
This can also happen when an IIS application had been idle for more time than defined by the Idle Time-out application pool setting. After this timeout, IIS would automatically close the application process, so the Agent won't be visible any more. Once the application becomes active again, the Agent would reappear.
As of 2022.9.0, you can use the Seeker .NET Agents system tray icon for the easy management of .NET Core and .NET Framework Agents deployed on a Windows system. For details, see Manage .NET Agents.
