Configuring .NET Agents

Customize the various behaviors of .NET Core and .NET Framework Agents by configuring their settings in the Agent configuration file.

Note: The following sections apply only to the Agents installed on Windows systems. To configure Agents installed on Linux, AWS Lambda, Azure Function, and Azure Web App, you should use environment variables. For more information, see Appendix A. Seeker Environment Variables.
  1. Open the Agent configuration file \Seeker\dotnet\service\dotnet-agent.config for editing.
  2. Configure the Agent settings to fit your testing needs. You can find specific instructions and sample configurations in the sections below:
  3. Important: When done, save the configuration file and restart the Seeker .NET Agents service.

Alternatively, you can configure the Agents for IIS applications interactively, as described in Configure .NET Agents Using Seeker IIS Assistant.
