Configure Email Notifications

Instruct Seeker to send you personal notification emails on vulnerability-related events relevant for you.

Prerequisites

Your administrator has configured an SMTP account for Seeker to send emails.

Configure one or more email addresses to receive personal email notifications on vulnerability-related events relevant for you, for example, when a vulnerability was assigned to you, or received a comment from somebody.

  1. Click your username at the top of the left-side panel, and choose User settings from the menu that opens.
  2. Click Emails. In the page that opens, click + Add email, enter a valid email address for sending notifications, and save your changes.
A message with a verification link should be delivered to that email.
  3. If you don't receive this message, click Send verification email in the email row.
  4. Follow the instructions in the message to confirm your email address.
If the email address has been verified successfully, its status will change to Verified.
  5. Repeat the above steps if you want to add more email addresses.
  6. To edit an email address, click Delete in its row, and then add a new one.
Now that you have some verified email addresses, proceed to configuring notifications.
  1. Click Notifications, and toggle the Enable email notifications switch on.
  2. From the dropdown box, select a verified email address for notifications.
  3. Save your changes.
