Configure Vulnerability Views

Customize the display of data in the project dashboards by using predefined views.

A view is a fixed set of vulnerability filter selections. For example, you might want to define a view including only vulnerabilities of Critical and High severity and tagged as Seeker-Verified.

You can define one or more views for a project. If you set a view as default, vulnerabilities and other project data will be displayed in this view by default. If you don't set any view as default, none of the views will take effect.

When you configure a view, you can apply the view to any individual project, or you can add a view to a template and assign the template to one or more projects. Here's how to create a view and assign it to a project or a template.

  1. Depending on whether the view is for a single project or a template, navigate to the Views configuration page as follows:
    PropertyDescription
    For a single project
    1. In the main menu, click (Projects) and open a project that you want to configure.
    2. From the left-hand navbar select Views.
    For a template
    1. In the main menu, click (Settings) > Global Project Settings
    2. From the left-hand navbar, select Project Templates
    3. Choose an existing template or create a new one. (For more about creating a template, see also Configure Project Templates.)
    4. From the top navbar, select Views
  2. Choose one of the available views or create a new one.
    • To edit an existing view, click the Edit button in its row.
    • To add a new view, click +Add view.
  3. Enter the following properties:
    PropertyDescription
Name A descriptive name of the view.
Default Select the checkbox to set this view as default for the project dashboards.
Note: Setting the current view as default will override the previous default view setting.
Filters To add one or more filters to the view:
    • Expand the Add filter dropdown list and select the required filters.
    • Expand each filter and select the required values.
  4. Click Add View to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.
Tip:

After you have saved a default view, Seeker will automatically rebuild the project data according to its filters. Note that this operation might take a few minutes.

If for some reason the default view doesn't work as expected, you can click the Rebuild default view button to trigger a rebuild.

If this operation takes too long, you can check its status on the Diagnostics > Background Jobs page. For details, see View Background Jobs.
