Configure Custom Reports

Customize the Seeker reports by configuring additional filters. These custom reports can be generated on demand from the Export menu, or included in periodic email digests.

  1. In the main menu, click (Settings) > Custom Reports . A list of currently defined custom reports is displayed.
  2. To add a new report, click + Add custom report. To edit an existing report, click its name or choose Edit from its (cog) menu.
  3. Enter the following properties:
    PropertyDescription
    Name Report display name.
    Type Select a report type: Project Portfolio, Vulnerability PDF Report, Vulnerability Export (CSV, JSON, XML), Full Project.
    Filters Expand the Add filter selection box, and select the filters that you want to apply. Set each filter as required.
  4. Depending on the report type, you can customize your report by selecting additional options:
    • Report sections to include or exclude, such as Vulnerabilities by Severity and Vulnerabilities by Compliance.
    • Sorting order for vulnerabilities, such as Severity and Status.
    • Vulnerability details to include or exclude.
    • Format for Vulnerability Export (CSV, JSON, XML).

    The available options slightly differ between report types. For Project Portfolio, none of these options are relevant.

  5. Save your changes.
Next Steps
  • To delete a report, choose Delete from its (cog) menu.
  • To generate this report on demand, choose Generate from its (cog) menu. For a Full Project report, go to Projects page, and select it from the Export menu.
