Configure Automatic Hot Backup

Configure a recurrent automatic hot backup of the Seeker detection and configuration data. This data can be restored from backup at any point.

If enabled, automatic backup occurs once a week on Saturdays at 3:00 AM by default. You can configure several backup properties.

  1. In the main menu, click (Settings) > Backup.
  2. Select Enable automatic backup. The next scheduled backup time is displayed.
  3. If you want to perform backup on demand, click Backup now.
  4. Enter the following properties:

    Backup location The location in which to store the backup files. Default is {SEEKER_HOME_DIR}/backups.
    Format The backup file format. Default is zip for Windows, and tar.gz for Linux and MacOS.
    Maximum number of backups to keep Default is 10.
  5. Click Test Backup to make sure it works as expected.
  6. Click Save.
