Tag a Vulnerability
To filter and manage vulnerabilities more effectively, you can apply custom tags to a vulnerability.
Custom tags can be predefined by an administrator, or added by any user on the fly.
-
You can apply tags in one of the following ways:
- Select a vulnerability in the Vulnerabilities list, and from the menu choose Apply tags....
- Select multiple vulnerabilities to which you want to apply the same tags, and click the Apply tags button above the list.
- In the vulnerability page, click the Apply tags button.
-
In the Apply Tags dialog box, select one or more custom tags
that you want to apply:
- In the input field, type to search for tags, and click a tag that you want to add.
- To delete a tag from the input field, click x on the tag.
- To create a new tag on the fly, type it directly in the input field, and press Enter when done.
- If you are applying tags to multiple vulnerabilities, you can add or delete the selected tags, or replace with them the existing tags by choosing the relevant option from the dropdown list.
A valid tag:
- Is unique.
- Is between 1 and 255 characters long.
- Includes only lower case letters (a-z), digits (0-9), hyphen (-) and underscore (_) symbols.
-
To apply the selected tags to the vulnerability, click
Save.
The selected tags appear next to the vulnerability's title.
